The Texas Cotton Association PRESIDENT, BRADY RAINDL, of ECOM USA, Inc., Lubbock, Texas, announces the  ANNUAL FLOW MEETING, to be held at the Overton Hotel & Conference Center on September 10 & 11, 2024! Since 1973, this association has met in Lubbock to bring supply chain partners together with cotton shippers prior to the harvest of cotton, to discuss mitigating factors relating to disruptions in the timely and efficient movement of our TEXAS COTTON to market! We invite YOU to have a seat at the table!

GOLFERS! You will want to come in early! Our agenda includes "TEEING OFF FOR COTTON" event, hosted by TIGA, Lubbock Cotton Exchange & TCA, on September 9, at the Rawls Course at Texas Tech, 3720 4th St, Lubbock, TX 79415, 806.742.4653. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with a 1:00 p.m., shotgun! The fee is $150/per golfer and includes green fees, cart and lunch. On the evening of September 10, at the Overton Hotel in Sunset Ballroom (AB) on the lower level of the hotel on the west side of the building, we will come together in a social setting to reunite and meet old and new supply chain partners at the COTTON FLOW RECEPTION! Connect at this can't miss social and business networking opportunity! 

The next morning, September 11, we will meet the annual FLOW MEETING the most heavily attended COTTON FLOW SIGNATURE SYMPOSIUM in the industry! A breakfast meeting will be held in Sunset Ballroom (AB), featuring speakers addressing issues pertinent to cotton flow and crop progress. We expect to adjourn by noon. This event is open to all cotton segments and supply chain management professionals - shippers, warehouses, trucks, railroads, ocean carriers, ports, inspectors, bankers, academia, and press. You can expect to hear from experts regarding cutting-edge insights on significant challenges and or ways in which issues can be resolved. A panel of experts will contribute to the conversation and as always, the FLOW MEETING provides an open forum to allow for audience participation. If you have any specific questions that you would like us to address or research prior to the program, please email [email protected]TCA President, Brady Raindl, Cotton Trader of ECOM Trading, Lubbock, will preside and address the Flow Meeting. The invocation will be given by TCA Past President and Senior Trader, Omnicotton, Inc., Plano, David Edwards. Azeez Abdul Syed, ACSA Chairman and President of the Cotton Division at OLAM International Limited, Richardson, will report on activities of the American Cotton Shippers Association. Kara Bishop, Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Plains Cotton Growers, Inc., Lubbock, will bring a Crop Report. International Supply Chain Manager - Cotton Platform at Louis Dreyfus Company, John-Michael Ruder, will moderate the Flow Panel. Panelists that are confirmed can be found on the agenda.

FLOW MEETING HOTEL ROOM RESERVATIONS for the nights of September 9th, 10th, 11th, and the 12th, 2024, may be made by calling the OVERTON HOTEL toll free at 806.776.7000, requesting a room in the The Texas Cotton Association 2024 - FLOW meeting block, for a special rate of $139+tax, for a single or double room accommodation. You may book your room in our block online by clicking Online Hotel Reservations and the TCA discounted room rate page will appear! (Please note:  When you click the link it will take you to the reservation page. It will automatically put the check in and check-out date; you will have to adjust the check-out date and update the page if you would like to stay more than just one night.) In order to be assured of the reduced TCA special meeting rate during the Flow activities, you must act no later than the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, before any remaining rooms in our block are cancelled and returned to the hotel for general sales. In making your plans, please also note that hotel check-in is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.  (Please note:  An incidental fee will be added to your card upon arrival for $50 for each individual staying in the room per each night included on the reservation, but credited back to your card if no incidental charges are made to the room. A 24-hour cancellation is required before the first night's room charge is collected by the hotel.)

! ! ! TEXAS TECH ATHLETICS is bringing back the AG GAME ! ! ! IT'S AG WEEK in LUBBOCK! The game will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., for a home game advantage against North Texas Mean Green! Tickets are selling fast! Tickets for Texas Tech athletic events can be purchased online through the Texas Tech Athletics Online Ticket Office at texastech.evenue.net. You can also contact the ticket office at (806) 742-TECH (8324) for more information. The ticket office is located at 2508 6th Street, East Side of Jones AT&T Stadium, Lubbock. For TTU fans wanting to CELEBRATE COTTON and stay the week to call on cotton offices in Lubbock and over the weekend for the game, please reach out to [email protected]. Rooms are selling fast and the rate the hotel can offer will be reviewed on a case by case basis and will be determined when you request a room and the types of rooms they have available in inventory.

Online Registration Form is available for members of this association and non-members alike through this link and on the home page of our website in a drop-down menu at the top of the page displayed in menu items. The registration fee for Merchant, Primary Buyer and Associate members is $100.00. The non-member rate is $125. If you are a TCA Honorary member, retired member, a principal of a cotton organization, government, press or academia, you are invited as a guest of this association and your registration is complimentary. If you will be bringing your wife, spouse registration is also complimentary. If you are considered a guest, please fill out the registration form and select "guest registration" so that we can prepare a badge for you and make necessary food and beverage accommodations. Likewise, if you agree to sponsor at a level that includes FREE registration, please check that box and you will not be charged!
