Just like the upbeat BEATLE’S song that reflects the importance of friendship and reliance on others, President Raindl announces the 2025 TCA convention theme, “With a Little Help from My Friends”, to showcase the collaborative spirit of our Texas Cotton industry! We are reminded that no one succeeds alone and that we all need the essential connections and support we build with those around us. We are much better when we “Come Together-Right Now”!

Nestled in the heart of the pristine forest, the award-winning resort - The Woodlands Resort, located at 2301 N. Millbend Dr., The Woodlands, Texas, 77380, 281.367.1100, will host this year's convention on April 30, May 1 & 2, 2025! Plan to bring the entire family! In the coming days, we will provide a list of our Standing Committees and the current policy resolutions of the merchant segment from TCA and ACSA. A QTR CODE has been created to make your annual donation to the TCA PAC Political Action Committee). We encourage attendees to check-in on Tuesday night, April 29, 2025, to get a head-start on networking and prepare for the activities over the next three days! Rooms are available at a special TCA room rate of $239, plus a reduced resort fee of $15. The total rate is subject to a 15% hotel occupancy rate. The TCA special room rate is offered three (3) days pre and three (3) days post convention based on availability. You may want to consider extending your stay if you would like to be a spectator (tickets are complimentary) at the Insperity Invitational Championship Round One, Two & Three, that will take place Friday, May 2, 3, & 4 at the resort's tournament course! The resort fee includes the following:  Self-parking, Internet acccess in guest rooms and common areas, in room coffee, daily bottled water in guest rooms, 24 hour access to the fitness center, access to the Forest Oasis Waterscape/Lazy River and activities, access to golf practice facilities and bag storage, intra-resort transportation, 15% discount on retail items in the Spruce Market, and access to Coolwater 2.0 game room. Our convention will launch on Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025! Our 1st TCA Triathlon event will be Pickleball! We will meet in the lobby and walk over to the courts. How good is your market prognostication?! Play the 2nd TCA Triathlon Market Guess Game for FREE! The TCA Triathlon 2nd event winners in First, Second & Third place will be posted in the TCA office at 4:00 p.m., April 30, 2025! YOUR golf skills will be challenged at the 3rd TCA Triathlon TCA DALCOT, to be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, 12:30 p.m., shot gun start, at the resort's championship golf club onsite.The Woodlands Country Club is home to five private championship golf courses, woven throughout The Woodlands township’s natural landscape. Each course provides Members of ("Invited" - formally Club Core) with one of the most enticing golf experiences in the Houston area. This includes the Tournament Course, the current host to the PGA Tour Champions Insperity Invitational, which will also take place at the resort during our convention, as mentioned above!

On Thursday morning, May 1, 2025, we will polish our current policy after the committees have been working well in advance to formulate the best blueprint to bring forward for final adoption. We anticipate many transportation providers to be in attendance during the Transportation Committee Meeting as we SUMMIT to better coordinate and communicate what we need from each other to flow cotton more orderly and efficiently. After the Standing Committee Meetings, you are on your own until the reception and dinner to check out all the numerous activities offered at the resort.  The annual reunion of transportation suppliers and merchants will gather later Thursday night at the TRANSPORTATION RECEPTION prior to the RAINDL PRESIDENTIAL DINNER and entertainment by “THE FAB 5”! 

On Friday, during the General Session, The TCA Presidential Address will be given by BRADY RAINDL, TCA PRESIDENT, followed by an ACSA update by ACSA CEO and PRESIDENT, WILLIAM H. (BUDDY) ALLEN. We have invited a Keynote speaker this year and we will advise you once he has accepted our invitation and as updates to our program are forthcoming. The TRIATHLON AWARDS featuring the COTTON CUP winner will follow. We will advise updates to our program as more information is forthcoming.

Immediately following the General Session, the Executive Session of Merchant & Primary Marketing members only, will meet to install the new president, elect the new board of directors and adopt policy resolutions. It is imperative if you are a voting merchant or primary marketing member that you make travel plans to attend or designate at least one from your firm to be present to adopt new policy! In making your travel plans home, we anticipate the General Session to conclude by noon and the Executive Session to conclude by 1:00 p.m. The new board can expect to adjourn by 2:00 p.m., at the latest.
